ELECTRIC DETONATORS
Millisecond Electric Detonators (MSED) are used for blasting hard and very hard materials, achieving good material fragmentation and maximum utilization of explosive power under strong resonant action. These detonators must not be used in a methane-explosive atmosphere.
Semisecond Electric Detonators (PSED) are used for blasting medium, hard, and soft materials. Due to their longer delay, there is a successive ejection of material, resulting in obtaining larger granulation suitable for transport, and the shocks are reduced to the power of a single mine.
